Amy Lewis is a designer, artist and researcher with a background in graphic design and has graduated from Design Academy Eindhoven in 2022.
Having mixed heritage encourages her to bridge British and Japanese sensibilities which is the driving force of her design research.
By developing contemporary translations of the beauty in traditional textile crafts, she finds ways to create sensorial experiences in daily life to reimagine the mundane and bring joy to everyday activities.
Rather than erasing history to make way for new, her passion lies in embracing the power of narration and storytelling to guide matter that intertwines the past, present, and future.
